The reason for me saying what I did was, a long time ago I use to make runs to Dallas after supplies quite frequently. I had a 24 ft. triple axle goose neck trailer and on one trip one of my tires had a chunk of tread knock off and I thought I would just run it till it blew. Well, it never did but the shackle bolt on the unbalance tire spring nearly ate its way through the spring eyelet and hanger. This convinced me that even a little vibration is also taking the life out of the running gear. From that day foward I always insisted on all my trailer tires be balanced.
