Well, in the camping magazines, i've seen picture ads of a tent that is attached to the pickup bed, collapsed for driving, set it up when you get to the show! Or, a small cap, bed length, tall enough to sit up in, windows on side. On top, at rear cap opening, above top gate, screw in 2 long sheet metal screws, let them stick up 1 inch. Get a tarp, long enough to stretch out 10 feet behind the truck. Get poles to hold it up, and ropes and stakes to hold it in place! Put the grommets over the 2 screws, and stretch the tarp out, put poles in grommets in other end of tarp, hook looped ropes over ends of poles, tighten everything up, put in the stakes and there ya are with yer camp set up! Of course ya can't move the truck with this setup! Cook on the tail gate, or take a folding table, or one of those wooden slotted kind. A couple coolers for perishables and beer or pop, cook pots, Gasoline stove or propane, and yer all set! Sleep in the cap! How do i know? Did it fer years! Hit many bluegrass festivals over the years. (Need a drawing? Write me, i'll send one!)
