Warranty policy is a shield for the manufacturer to hide behind IF they want to. Most likely the policy was written by a lawyer to protect the company. However, warranty policy can be bent IF you find the right person. If you can't get the Service Manager to bend, the most logical person to go to is the Sales Manager - as understands what happens to sales if a customer is unhappy (that is if he knows anything at all about sales). Keep moving up the ladder until you get results!
