There are a number of engine flushes available at auto supply stores.I do not know the recommendations for use of these individual products. In general the advise adding these cleaners to an already warm engine and operate for five minutes at no load. Then drain. An alternative is to ad about one pint or less to begin with, of automatic transmission fluid to the oil and operate as normal and drain. That stuff is very high detergent and will break down loads of parafin, carbon and varnish. If you go that route I suggest you not wait for a long period before oil change,to get rid of the contaminants. Then do several follow ups until you have a clean engine. It works.Do not go at you problem to heavily or you may partly block the oil pump suction screen. Watch the oil pressure gauge.
