Liquid Glass

I am getting antifreeze in my crankcase and need some advice on using liquid glass to patch the leak. Do I mix it with the antifreeze or straight water, should the engine be warm, how much do I use, do I drain it out after awhile or leave it, etc.? By the way, it's a JD MT with heavy welds around the front of the block where evidently the pedistal broke. The head gasket is dry at least on the outside of the engine. It leaks about a half pint in a half hour.
