stuck spark plugs

I had some time before supper tonight and thought I'd put in my new plugs in my TO-30. No problem with the first two, but the second two wouldn't budge. There's quite a bit of surface rust on them, I think they were more exposed to the elements or something. With my 1/2 drive Craftsman ratchet and a two foot cheater, I tried to "carefully" break them loose without damaging anything. I didn't crank the max force down on them, but close. One plug did pop a couple of times. The other didn't do anything. I figure they might be rusted and/or "carboned" into place, the other two plugs have heavy carbon build up. My next step was my Big Honkin' Cheater bar, but I figured I would inquire here first before making a major mistake. I've soaked the exterior of both plugs with repeated shots of Liquid Wrench, hoping that'll help. Should I try another approach, or just throw caution to the wind and strong-arm those dudes out of there? OldKyJim
