Yes yes yes copper coat (Kopper Koat?????) Spray is best....clean nozzle with berryman's chem tool when finished.....shake it good and spray some for a test sample first, to get the copper in suspension. Light coat all over, install tacky. Keeps the head gasket from squirming if there are no alignment pins.....never leaks.....the only reason mfgr's recommend using a dry gasket in my opinion is that they don't have control over what you use. Have you ever tried to seat a head on a 454 Chev station wagon by yourself.....the head weighs around 50+ lbs, and you are bent over the fender with all that weight out front of you....then you have to hope you didn't scoot the head gasket.....Kopper Koat.
