Brad: It is indeed what the tag describes, actually the spelling is Emerson Brantingham. I just took a qiuck look at Encyclopedia of American Farm Tractors. The roots of the company began in the mid 1850s. It had several owners and in 1909 Ralph Emerson and Charles Brantingham formed the Emerson Brantingham Company. They bought several other companies after that namely Reeves & Company, Columbbus IN; Rockford Engine works, Rockford IL; Gas Traction Co; Minneapolis MN, "Big 4" Tractor Works, Winnipeg Manitobia; Geiser Manufacturing Co., Waynesboro,PA and several smaller companies. The Company was sold to J.I. Case Company in 1928. Just looking at the 3 pages in the Encyclopedia E-B had quite a large line of tractors all the way to 65 hp, including row crops. There is a lot of photos in this, if you could post a photo, I think we could ID the model.
