hey Stan, go to NAPA and get you a couple cans of Sea Foam and put it in the old stuff and then mix in a little bit of good stuff and you should be able to burn it in anything. I did this with an old forklift a man gave me. I know it had been setting for at least 6 years with half a tank when I got it and that's what I did. It wouldn't run at all with just the old and new mixed, but when I added the Sea Foam it fired right up. It stank like crap til it got rid of the old stuff but it ran. I still don't know what the additive did but it worked. Good luck.
