1943 Farmall H

My fathers in law old 43H he bought new in 1943, the receipt is still around, is available for $1000.00. The motor has been stuck for a few years [10-15?].This tractor did the mowing [300A, pulled corn chopper,50A, sawed the wood 15 cords [has narrow front}, tin was in good shape last I saw it. It is 75 miles away. It was semi-retired in about 1970. Worked only on the Libby farm. Other tractors of same era would have more time on them. The M with wide front did all the heavy work. Is it worth it with $1500 to $2000 more to restore it to good condition? [I know it is worth more to us as wife remembers going after it].
