I buy and sell on ebay all the time, and frankly, I hope the guys on this site get their money they want for their tractors, but they are about twice as high as they are on ebay. For instance, 2000 to 2300 for an H farmall. Come on. There ain't a farmall H in the world worth that. Expecially for someone who is trying to fix them up and resell them. I love this site, and the information I glean from all of the experienced "wrenches" on here, but ebay certainly has it's place too, and quite by accident I started "sniping" some of my bids before I even knew we were called that. Oh well, if I or you, want an item, bid on it and if someone else gets it, just look at it like I do. Oh well, at least I made them pay for it, and they didn't get it for a song. Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
