I've heard storied from a good number of farmers who had Wisconsin engines on equipment, don't expect 'em to start hot. Many of them said that they'd leave the engine running over lunch breaks, etc., and that if you had to stop it to fix something, you could expect that the work would be done for the day. This doesn't really help your problem, but just brings up the point that Wisconsin engines do not start easily when they are hot.
