I TORE THE ENGINE APART AND FOUND THE BEARINGS WERE WORE BUT DID NOT TARE THE CRANK UP THE CYLINDER WALLS WERE REALLY SMOOTH BUT #2AND #3 HAD ALOT OF CARBON BUILD UP SO I TOOK AND HAD THE CYLINDERS CHECKED BY MY FRIEND WHO DOES STOCK CAR ENGINES FOUND CYLINDERS JUST NEED A QUICK GLAZE REMOVAL BUT RINGS ON BOTH CYLINDERS WERE LINED UP WHICH WOULD PROBABLY CAUSE A PROBLEM SO I WILL PUT RINGS AND ALL NEW VALVES AND SPRINGS IN IT AND ALL NEW LOWER END AND HAVE CRANK POLISHED WOULD THIS BE THE RIGHT WAT TO DO THE MOTOR OR SHOULD I GO FARTHER I APPRECIATE THE REPLIES IT HIT PRETTY WELL ON THE HEAD I WOULD APPRECIATE THE ROD AND HEAD TORQUE SPECS I WILL UPDATE YOU ON HOW IT TURNS OUT AFTER REBUILD THANKS AGAIN
