Dont let your feelings get hurt so quickly. Buying an antique tractor is the first step in a long, (frankly endless) process which either becomes a hobby or an irritation. You will do many repairs on your 2n, and changing the oil will not be the biggest of your concerns. Defintely buy the FO-4 manual and start reading the posts on the 9-2-8n board here. I have a 47 2n. It has been very reliable, which means it always starts and runs before something breaks :) But I love the old gal. I hope you have some mechanical experience, and patience. I don't mean to be pessimistic, but these things are 50yrs old and require a good bit of tinkering. Many people here get frustrated that people just rush out and buy a shiny old tractor with no thought to the work that is required to keep one going - that is probably why the other guy was a little short back there. Hope the forum is of help to you getting started. Feel free to email me direct a smahler@sbu.com for 2n tips etc.
