Winch on a tractor bad idea?

Thinking about ways to speed up loading logs onto a sawmill -- bandmill.
I have a couple of winches not being used.
Would it be a bad idea to mount a winch on a front loader -- that is inside the bucket or on top of it?
The way I envision things working is I'd park /anchor the tractor on one side of the mill log pile on the other side. Winch the log up ramps onto the mill.
I use the loader with forks to load the mill now.For me its a time eater when working alone.
The winch would be positioned so I could still use the forks to move milled timbers.

I'll chock the wheels on the tractor etc...tractor weight 7,000lbs or so -- Don't want to see tractor parts flying off --- logs are round de-limbed and on runners, not rolled on ground.
