Collecting takes place where there is time and money. That's mostly the north eastern parts of North America.
The average antique owner doesn't even have a computer or belong to a club. They are just trying to survive with a tinker fixed clunker.
The average antique collector/restorer is usually a suburban or rural professional that is middle aged to near retirment making much more than the National Average income. Owns a computer, belongs to a club and grew up on a farm but didn't care for poverty and the lack of security. That's mostly west coast and north east Yankee territory.
