I had a 4430 that the Air Conditioning Compressor locked up, & the starter would not turn the Engine over at all! I took a hacksaw, & cut the V - Belts off the Compressor, & the tractor started right up! Lucky for me that happened in late October so I was able to run till March without Air! I had the same problem with my 3pt. Hitch; but I took it to the dealer, & they spent several hours on it, & replaced at lot of parts!
