OPEC has cut output but I cant see them doing it again this year, too much stress on their customers. Gasoline will trend higher but distillate (including diesel) stocks are up 17% this year over last (off Reuters tonight). Current refining technology yields X amount of gasoline and Y amount of distillate out of each barrel of crude. You cant change the ratio unless you change the feed stock. As refiners attempt to supply gasoline for the summer market distillate stocks will continue to rise. Last I got was at $1.29, my supplier said to expect #2 high sulfur, died red to top out in the low $1.40's before declining into the $1.30's during the summer.
