That's tough to answer. I deal with two - New Holland dealer for my 8N Ford and John Deere dealer for my 720LP two-cylinder.

Basically, the New Holland dealer is very friendly and willing to work with me. The parts guys are good and knowledgeable. I have been able to get every part i need from the dealer. Sometimes their prices are cheaper than mail order. The service department won't touch an 8N, though.

The John Deere dealer has been able to get me all the parts I need, although it depends on who is behind the counter as to the quality of service I get. Prices are on the high side of reasonable. But i'm happy just to be able to get a new part for a tractor that's almost 50 years old.

Just my two cents worth.
