I agree it sounds high to me, however you haven't told us what year it is, nor how many hours it has on it. That can make a big difference. I bought a 1972, 3,000 hr, power-shift, 1070 Case in 1977 for $10,500 without a loader. It was a slick tractor condition wise. The power-shift did fail after about one year, but after the rebuild it never gave another hint of a problem until I sold it in 1983. The rebuild was around $600 at the time, transportation to the dealer included. I liked the transmission. Later I drove a 2390 with power-shift and it was just fine too. I think you would like it on a loader tractor.
