Gas without road taxes?

I have several old gas tractors that i still use on the farm. Is there any way to get gas for them without paying the road tax? I get red diesel with no road taxes, it seems that since I am using the fuel off the road in a farm tractor that earns its keep (not a hobby), there should be a better way to get fuel for them? Is there? Or do I need to just keep paying a lot for gasoline and use them as little as possible? Thanks for the input.
