The early 5000's have a huge amount of clutch, tranny and hydraulic failures!! Some get lucky, and don't have a lot of problems, but way too many do! I'm sorry to say, but the old deere and company would NEVER have put there name on such a poor design!! You are lucky enough to have not had to pay for yours, so at least if it breaks, you can afford to fix it!
