Gas takes a BCI group 17TF (New holland P/N F120), diesel takes BCI group 4DLT (New Holland P/N F150). Your local NH dealer should stock them both as the same batterys were used on the 2000 through 5000 series machines from 1965 through end of gas tractor production in the early 1980's. And the 4DLT was used later than that.
