I surely do remember the Allison boys and Marshall Meyer. They pulled in the first tractor pull here in Ontario held at the International Plowing Match in 1971. During the seventies , they pulled several times at the pulls held at Nelles Corners and the Toronto Farm Show. When those Allisons pulled, it always brought a tear to my uncle's eye , as he had been an aircraft mechanic in the RCAF during the war and loved those engines. I remember seeing allisons in factory crates advertised for sale at $5000 American. You could always count on Marshall Meyer to put on a real show, along with lots of smoke !! Sadly, I learned that he past away some twenty years ago.
