I have a friend who is probably going to lose his job making well pumps. They are shipping the line he works on over to China. The workers have asked what they could do to keep the jobs here, management said nothing. The employees have offered major concessions, but managment has said even if they took a $10 an hour cut (on a job paying $12.50 to $13 and hour) the work is still going to China were they will pay them $.80 an hour. Now to the part I don't like, the price of the pumps will INCREASE after the transfere to Chinese manufacture. That is corporate greed to it's fullest.
