gas leak

I drove my JD 530 onto my new aluminum trailer last night for the first time, and while on the ramp, nose first, noticed a significant stream of gasoline running down over the Powr Trol pump area. Same thing happened as I backed off the trailer.

I suspect it was coming out of the top of the bowl, but not positive. I checked the spring loaded vacuum release vent on top of the bowl this morning and found it sticking when depressed .... perhaps it was stuck open. If that was the case it certainly would explain the flood.

Any thoughts/ ideas/ suggestions would be appreciated.
