I am considering purchasing a JD 3020 (Tricycle) with a 4 cylinder diesel. The tractor is in mint condition and it owned by a very prominant man in my area who has a huge collection of restored JD's. However most are gasoline models. He is extremely meticulous in his restorations. He has offered me this tractor and a used but good condition 7 ft. bush hog for $6,500. I have a few concerns. It seems like alot of tractor for the 8 acres that I will be working. The rear of the tractor from outside of wheel to wheel is 8 ft. It probably weighs 7,000 lbs. My questions are: How easy does a tricycle flip? Will this tractor in mint condition bring $6,500 if I decide to sell it?
