Use the DEX-COOL. The Problems that GM has had with there engines is not caused by the coolant, the problem is in the intake gaskets. Ive been at the local GM dealership several times when they were replaceing intake gaskets. The mechanics there said that there is a problem with the silicone coated gaskets that they switched to when they went to Dex-Cool. If you change to regular antifreez you will void any engine or cooling system warranty that you have. the best thing to do is to use what it has and check it from time and watch for discoloring and unwanted deposits in the radiator.
