Went to an auction up the road a few weeks ago. Having a few acres I've been wanting a tractor just to help with some chores and clean up. The neighbor past away in December and had more junk then I've ever seen in one place. I really went to look at an old Cockshutt with a loader and it was in really bad shape. To quicken the story I purchased a 1945 JD A for $320. The fly wheel moves and there is compression in the cylinders. Working more than I should this hobby will take me awhile to complete. However I have to say how happy I am to own my first tractor, and am looking forward to hear it start the first time. Also thankful to discover this web site. Hope to find good advice and freinds.
