You could post this on the "Case" forum for more info. There are people there with vast amounts of Case experience. They will be happy (and more able) to help with any questions/problems. A "431" is a "430". It can be confusing, but Case varied the last digit in the late 50's & 60's to distinguish between the various configurations of their tractors. I have a picture of a 430 with a tricycle front which is labeled 441 but has a 430 decal. Another picture is labeled 431 but it is a low-profile tractor with a 430 decal. Hope this helps.
