Buying tractors on the internet ???

In the last 6 months I've bought 3 tractors off
the internet,two off this site and didn't get
any of them.I express mailed one a check,he
returned it and won't answer my email,another
said he priced his tractor to cheap and he would
get back to me with the new price, and the third
said he had a better offer and wanted me to pay
more,he was then going to call the other guy to
do the same thing to him.I have a friend who drove across 3 states to be told the guy changed
his mind and decided to keep the tractor and handed him his check back.I expect this stuff
from ebay sellers,but always had more respect
for most tractor people I've met,maybe I'm wrong.

Earthmaster Project Progress Just a little update on my Earthmaster......it's back from the dead! I pulled the head, and soaked the stuck valves with mystery oil overnight, re-installed the head, and bingo, the compression returned. But alas, my carb foiled me again, it would fire a second then flood out.
