if i remember correctly,your 1070 has a tecumseh compressor.this would be the stand up design instead of the round type.it takes 11 ounces of oil.there is a hex head plug on the side that you put oil in.the plug should be taken out and the assembly oil drained.put in new oil and turn compressor about twenty turns before letting the engine turn it.install a new receiver drier.those little oil-coolant cans only hold 2 ounces of oil.pour 7 ounces in the compressor and two 2 ounce cans of oil with the coolant thru the suction side.
