I don't have any idea about parts availability or cost but the David Browns were good dependable tractors. My neighbor ran a dairy and had two of them for years. They were used and abused and never gave him any serious problems. I'm pretty sure one of them was a 995. I bush hogged most of one summer on one and it was a lot smoother and more comfortable than my old IH 444. JT
