That seems like a pretty high rate for sidedress. If you were really running 36# alongside EACH 600' of row, and lets just assume the rows are spaced at 36" for now, you would be putting on about 900# of product per acre; if your rows are narrower you would be putting even more per acre. 900# of 20-0-20 product would be 180# of N and K per acre, very high!. Is this what they recommend on your soils in your area? Remember you said it has been dry, so very little N has been lost to leaching. If I were you I would apply it dry at whatever you determine the proper rate to be and then irrigate with .5" of water.
Are you using the sprayer because that is all you have? I assume the Bulldog is water soluble; you will have to know how many lbs you can disolve per gallon. I never used it but I believe commercial premixed liquid fertilizer runs a little under 11# per gallon.
If you are thinking about only mixing 1 oz with a gallon (which doesn't sound right) you will be there forever. You will have less than 2 pounds in your 25 gallon tank, and how far would you want the 2 pounds to go. Maybe you meant 2# disolved in a gallon; that would make more sense since now each gallon would weigh 10 lbs and you would have 50 lbs in your 25 gallon tank. But you would have to find out if the Bulldog will disolve 2# in a gallon without settling out.
If your soils are sandy and porous and you are using irrigation, you are better to make several split application of nitrogen just before applying the water. Also on sandy soil you should be doing smaller apps of water at more frequent intervals. I would think that 300-400 pounds of that stuff would be the most to apply at any one time.
