I am interested in seeing some responses also. I picked up a rule book at the LeSuer Swap Meet a couple of years ago. Some interesting reading. My dad tells me that our New Idea 300 was used in the contest in Kansas (Were in NW Iowa). The 300 was a new model the year we bought it and we weren't supposed to be able to get one that year. Dealer did some fanagling and got the one we still have. The main slip clutch was set tight enough to tear some stuff up when going got tough the first time. Dad tells me the springs were bottomed out so it was solid. Anybody else have any stories??? JT
