Ford 800 12 Volt Conversion

Question?

I have read your article on 12 volt conversions and am planning to convert my Ford 800. It seems to me that I would need to reverse the wiring on the starter motor, since I will be changing from positive ground to negative ground. The article does not mention anything about this. Is my thinking correct? Do I need to change the polarity on the starter motor? Or is my thinking incorrect? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
