David. Lower and fluctuating oil pressure is an indication of gas diluted oil. Drain flush and change it then I would first suspect a carb float/needle valve seat assembly thats overflowing and flooding. I seriously doubt if anything was harmed by the diluted oil thus far. John T in Indiana
