If it is like my 1855 the serial number is on the left side at the base of the dash. Right down at the floor.
The engine is a 310 Wakasha (can't spell) rated at 108 hp. This is not a tractor for the hired help--you can't ask for all the power all at once and you have to let it warm up. Also absolutely do not lug the engine. These engines had a habit of coming apart. If you rebuild it there are updates to improve the life span.
