I think what you are doing is wonderful. I have a suggestion for you... why not put lights on your equipment so you can work at night? I'm not kidding, I put 4 55w halogens (2 forward, 2 rearward) on my Oliver 1650 so I can plow snow in the dark.

I think old iron is best anyway. I could buy 10 1650s for what a new fancy tractor costs and still not have as good as tractor.
