Worse yet you are paying for heavily taxed fuel with your paycheque after the gov't already took income tax off of.
Any time a government tries to tinker with markets and the economy. The good intentions and short term gain always lead to long term grief.
Which leads to the topic of welfare and taxes. The harder you work the more you are taxed. For the welfare bums the less they do and the more irresponsible e.g. more illegitimate children, the money they get. Truly an example of punishing good and rewarding wrong.
