Just for your reference- bought a 4500 Ford TLB this spring for $6100. Gas, gear trans, no cab or ROPS. Runs excellent, backhoe needs some bushings replaced to tighten things up. Bucket cylinder leaks internally, so does not hold position when parked. 1975 model, like the gear tranny because there is no torque converter to contend with- yes, not as handy to move between rocks, holes, etc., but was warned about buying older Ford with the TC, and this machine has been dependable and in my price range. Just wanted something to use for my own work around the farm.
