Well, I read everyones posts down below. To say the least some are right. Your boss should have instead jerking you about the u joint asked you if you needed help since this was your first one. I have been turning a wrench since i was about 15. So thats about 16 yrs now. After high school I attend tech school for their 2 yr ag tech program. I drove 45 miles to school each day and still farmed (milked morning and night). WE had state and nation wide competions between tech schools. In my second yr me and a freind won state first place time, then went on to take 10 th out of 36 teams that had more experince then us. We competed in the john deere training center in moline ILL. By know means we did not know everything. Common sense helped. I am still farming and dealing in antiquie parts and working auctions. Any day after I got out of tech I could have had a job with a local dealer still can now too. Its not what you know but the fact you are willing to learn from others and what you do. Just think by cutting down your drive you will save money there too. If you want my email is unlocked if you every want to talk just drop a line. Bob/wis Oh by the way out of my class i was about2 out of the bunch. I was not there much for the classroom part. Cows had to be milked.
