My father and I just pulled out his old wheelhorse A-81 (very small) riding mower. It had been sitting for years. It started up, remarkably, with nothing but a new battery. We were very impressed. The mower did need it's carburator rebuild - only costing me 26$ for a kit at my wheelhorse dealer. Other than that, the clutch that activates the spindle (the part that moves the blades) had to be rebuilt - because wheelhorse dealer said he could only order me the entire spindle. We had the cone clutch rebuilt for 30$ at a clutch shop. The mower works great and I'd highly recommend wheelhorse. p.s. The motor is Briggs & Stratton. p.s. Stay away from Cub Cadet - we had one and it was a lemon
