Local, cent KY Private: (the best one) $35.00, but he has a 4 month waiting list. Next is $50/ hr. These are shop rates, a farm call is usually $50 plus $75 and hour. Dealer: JD $65 (best)-$100(local); CNH $75-$85; Cat $90.00. All but Cat want $100 for a farm call plus labor, Cat is $65 plus mileage, plus labor. Of course almost all the dealers have add ons like an environmental fee, and a small parts fee, etc. All in all not to bad considering furnace guy had to come out on new years day and it was hourly rate $75, plus after hours X2, plus holiday X2. $360 to clean a sensor on the furnace, 15 minutes on the job and 45 mins of winsdshield time.
