If you decide to take matters into your own hands, remember this DO NOT let the dog get off your property. A local farmers sheep were being attacked by his neighbors dog. the farmer shot at the dog w/ a high power rifle amd shot the dogs lower jaw off. the dog ran home and the farmer was arrested and charged with a string of charges in the following 6 months it cost the farmer over 10,000.00 in fines and legal fees. this was in a very rural area.
