Just remember that in most States it's a felony to shoot any animal (wild or domestic) for no reason other than the animal just being there. As stated, make sure it's a one sided story. Here we have a terrible dog problem as people from Phoenix seam to think when they get done with there pets that we "city farmers" will be glad to take care of them when they drop them off on the country road. Theres no open water for 15 miles including irrigated land so they will show up here at some time. This is big county wide problem. Alot of dogs sit there for days watching every car go by looking for there owner. Then we have the snowbirds (winter vistors) that show up during the winter months for 4months and complain heavly when our dogs bark at them when they take there walks. They don't consider that our dogs don't see strangers the other 8 months a year. T_Bone
