Allan, If it were within my power, I'd gladly ship you some of the rain we've had here in Mid-Michigan the last month and a half. We lost 3 weeks straight that we couldnt get on to the fields whatsoever. We've had to replant nearly 1/3 of the corn we had planted before the rains came due to wash-out. We still werent able to get the replant completed, and hope to plant soybeans on the same ground provided the soys will grow after applying herbisides fashioned for corn. Since the 3 week delay, its been a real adventure finding a dry enough field to plant. Judt today, I burried a 20 ft. JD 750 in the much and mire, and nearly burried the 1500 4x4 Massey pulling it. Luckily, I was able to get the tractor out by unhooking it from the planter and attaching a 30ft cable and get the tractor on high ground. I got the drill out, but spent the next 2 hours digging the mud out of the seed shoes. Through sheer determination, we are down to the last 500 acres of soybeans to plant, (out of 2,000) unless we can replant the 200 acres on top of the washed out corn. Tis enough to make a feller go get a McJob. One thing for sure, the weeds werent hurt by all the rain. So, yes, if you can find a way to haul it your way, we'll gladly share some of this Michigan rain.

From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
