Mornin' Mr. Davis, Just reading thru this thread reminds me how much we "forget" when it comes to these silly things. We take 'em for granted and put it to the back of our minds that they can very easily kill a guy if he is not careful. I'm gonna call the tire outfit this morning and have them come out & load a couple of tires for me. I've got an old H under a loader and live way up here in the hills. Just too unpredictable and one never knows when she'll decide to "lean over". Allan

Restoration Story: Fordson Major - by Anthony West. George bought his Fordson Major from a an implement sale about 18 years ago for £200.00 (UK). There is no known history regarding its origins or what service it had done, but the following work was undertaken alone to bring it up to show standard. From the engine number, it was found that this Major was produced late 1946. It was almost complete but had various parts that would definitely need replacing.
