Not knowing where you are located this may not be important, but after it gets really hot 2-4-D will vaporize and move. If you have any cotton near by it is certainly too late to use. Also if your neioghbors have any plants or shrubs in the yard the drift and vaporization with 2-4-D can kill or injure some of these plants. Check with your county agent about time restrictions.
