Chas, I recently have been driven near nuts with Farmall H gasoline problems. I flushed the tank because it had bad gasoline, although most people say gasoline doesn't go bad. I replaced the tank and started it. It only ran on the choke. I next rebuilt the carb. It ran okay for about 10 minutes and then it would only run with the choke on and it had no power. Upon unhooking the gasoline line I saw that I had no gasoline coming from the tank. I removed the bowl and drained out a lot of rust. When I started it the carb was fouled again. I rebuilt the carb and started it again last nite. Well now I have no gasoline flow from the tank again. I am going to get someone to steam clean the tank and seal it. Also the other problem I noticed is that the bad gasoline even dilluted with new gasoline makes the tractor smoke. It isn't oil or water smoke, but a grayish type. Additionally there is a lot of gum in the carb. What a mess.

Flax provided the fibre which w
